Superintendent Dr. Pat Murphy Named a Finalist for 2015 National Superintendent Award

AASA The School Superintendents Association, announced the finalists for the 2015 National Superintendent of the Year Award. Arlington Superintendent Dr. Pat Murphy was named as one of the four finalists for the award which will be announced during AASA’s 150th anniversary celebration at the National Conference on Education, Feb. 26-28, 2015, in San Diego. FY2016 Budget Video and Feedback Form Now Available

Arlington Public Schools is beginning the budget process for FY 2016 and wants to inform the community about the funding challenges for next year.  More Seats for Students Help Shape the Future of Our Schools

After considering the input from an extensive community engagement process and the recommendations of the APS Facilities Advisory Committee and the Superintendent, the Arlington School Board adopted a plan to increase secondary capacity at the Dec. 18 meeting. The approved options are all slated to be completed by the start of school in September 2019. (More)
